Launched in 2023, the ATS MECOR Program in Southeast Asia is a dynamic initiative designed to strengthen research capacity in this diverse and rapidly developing region. Held in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Respiratory (PDPI) in 2023, and in 2024 with the add of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP), the program emphasizes local and regional solutions to respiratory health challenges.
In 2025 the program’s third edition will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in September 15-19, 2025, building on the success of its two previous edition. Participants engage in interactive learning experiences and develop research projects with the potential to impact policy and clinical practice in their countries.
