ATS Nomination Process

Letter of Interest

The position of ATS Secretary is critical for the ATS, as this individual spends two years learning about the Society’s structure and leadership. They will then serve as President in the third year, and finally as immediate past president in the final year as an ATS officer. It is important that ATS identifies outstanding members who will ensure the Society continues to accelerate global innovation in the advancement of respiratory health through multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and advocacy.

The position of at-large directors is critical for the ATS, as this individual will serve on the Board of Directors, which has authority and responsibility for the supervision, control, and direction of the Society in accordance with the bylaws and the Board of Directors' fiduciary duties under applicable law. This position does NOT ascend to presidency.

Please provide the ATS Nominating Committee with a letter (no longer than 150 words) which clearly states why you would be best suited for this role based on the Society’s strategic focus. Your letter should be accompanied by an updated curriculum vitae.
