Disclosure for activities other than journals occurs annually
on a when-notified basis, and involves completion or updating online of
a secure ATS COI Disclosure questionnaire available at the ATS COI Website.
Disclosure for activities other than journals typically occurs each fall in relation to a role as (a) an International Conference planner or presenter, (b) a developer (panelist, committee member) of ATS clinical practice guidelines or other official ATS documents, and/or (c) an ATS officer, member of the Board of Directors, or members of a president-appointed committees.
Disclosure for activities other than journals requires a a unique AAMC-username and personal password. The ATS COI office notifies individuals by e-mail when a COI declaration or update is needed for a specific role/activity, and if a first-time user, provides instructions to create an AAMC account.
ATS members and others in official ATS activities needing assistance in using the system should contact John Harmon at ethicsoffice@thoracic.org or 212-315-8611.
