In July, the Friends of NIEHS Coalition, co-chaired by the ATS, sent a letter to Congressional Appropriators urging funding support for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). The letter noted the cutting-edge research that the NIEHS is funding in environmental health and particular advances in understanding the vulnerabilities of pregnant women and children to environmental health exposures.
