The American Thoracic Society Pulmonary Complications of Childhood Cancer Special Interest Group invites you to attend our annual webinar.

Over time, this group has expanded its scope to include rare lung diseases and novel therapies. This year’s webinar will focus on pulmonary complications and emerging therapies in sickle cell disease, with particular attention to gene therapy.

The session will provide an overview of sickle cell disease and its pulmonary manifestations, discuss strategies to optimize pulmonary and sleep health, and devote a significant portion of the program to the indications, complications, and outcomes associated with gene therapy as an evolving treatment option for sickle cell disease in both pediatric and adult populations.
