Home Oxygen Prescription and Delivery Systems

In this joint webinar sponsored by the Assembly on Allergy, Immunology and Inflammation (AII) and the Assembly on Clinical Problems (CP), we will be joined by expert speakers, including authors of ATS Clinical Practice Guidelines for Home Oxygen Therapy for Adults with Chronic Lung Disease, discussing clinically important topics surrounding home oxygen therapy. Susan S. Jacobs, MS, RN, FAAN, Stanford University, will provide overview of scientific basis for oxygen therapy in chronic respiratory diseases. Michael W. Hess, MPH, RRT, RPFT, COPD Foundation, will demonstrate how different types of oxygen delivery devices operate. Finally, Dona Upson, MD, MA, ATSF, University of New Mexico, will cover practical aspects of home oxygen therapy prescription.
