Justin Bullock, MD, MPH, University of Washington, an expert in identity formation and fostering inclusive environments, will join a panel of pulmonary and critical faculty from various institutions to discuss the community of practice framework, which has gained popularity in medical education over the prior decade. This webinar is designed to provide a broad overview of this framework, relevant for any clinician who teaches or mentors, yet also to include enough depth to be applicable to individuals who engage in social science or education research as a central element of their work within health professions education.

This event is hosted by the founding members of the ATS Professional Identity Formation Pod: Timothy Dyster, MD, MEd (University of California, San Francisco), Mira John, MD (University of California, San Diego), Ilana Roberts Krumm, MD, MEd (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Massachusetts General Hospital), Robin Stiller, MD (Oregon Health & Science University), and Emily Olson, MD (Northwestern University).
