This journal club will highlight key findings from a recent basic science research publication, which will then be followed by a clinical expert who will discuss the potential implications on patient management and disease outcomes. Our first guest speaker is Jazmin Calyeca, MS, PhD. She will present her recent publication, "Orchestrated Response from Heterogenous Fibroblast Subsets Contributes to Repair from Surgery-Induced Stress After Airway Reconstruction," published recently in JCI Insight. She will be joined by our second guest speaker, Debra Boyer, MD, MHPE, our clinical expert, who will facilitate discussion on the potential impact of the research findings on clinical management and outcomes.
