Student Scholars Program
The Student Scholars Program (SSP) is a unique opportunity for a select group of motivated medical students, graduate students, and nursing students to attend the ATS International Conference. Students will benefit from a great program put together by organizers, as well as get the most out of the conference, and will be exposed to cutting-edge science, professional education, and focused career development as part of the highly successful Student Scholars Program.
Resident Boot Camp (RBC)
The RBC is a two-day course for internal medicine and pediatric residents, as well as chief residents and hospitalists who have matched into adult critical care/pulmonary and pediatric pulmonary fellowship programs beginning in July. The RBC will provide incoming fellows with baseline knowledge that all first-year fellows should know and prepare them with skills needed to flourish during their years ahead. The RBC will also feature a pediatric track.
New Faculty Boot Camp (NFBC)
The NFBC program is for members in training, including clinical fellows, postdoctoral and research fellows, as well as research faculty who are within a year of transitioning to their first academic faculty position. This program will allow fellows and postdoctoral researchers who are active in basic, translational, and clinical research in pulmonary, critical care, or sleep medicine to attend a two-day course covering specific knowledge and skills for the difficult and disruptive transition from training to faculty.
Networking Super Center
The Networking Super Center offers a variety of daily talks in the, networking events, small group discussions, and other opportunities focused on professional and career development that take our scientific content to the next level. Talks are typically 50 minutes long with follow-up Q&A and leverage the Networking Super Center’s unique setting to foster interactivity, experiential learning, and information conversation.
