Polling (ARS) Speaker Guide

• No timer set on polls; speaker advances to the next slide when ready.
• Once you advance to the next slide, the poll will automatically close.

1. Insert the question slide in your slide deck, where you would like the poll to appear. Be sure to note the correct answer if there is one. At this time we only support multiple-choice type questions.
2. If you have more than one poll, continue to do this throughout your slide deck
3. There is no limit to how many polls you can have in your presentation.
4. Limits
   • The question field has a maximum of 500 characters
   • The answer fields have a maximum of 255 characters each and a maximum of 5 choices.

Our team will take care of the rest and configure the polls into our system and your slide deck. Your question slides will be replaced with automated polling slides.

Once you reach the polling slide, it will automatically activate the poll. The number of votes cast will display at the bottom.

When you are ready to move forward, click to move to the next slide and the next slide will display the results and correct answer.

NOTE: Once you click to the next slide, this will automatically CLOSE the poll. Going back will RESTART the poll.

  • Open the device's camera app and scan the QR code or navigate directly to the session and click on Polls.

Tip 1: At the beginning of the session, let the audience know that the session will have interactive polling through the conference app and ATSConference365. Remind attendees to have the app downloaded and/or ATSConference365 opened and logged in.

Tip 2: Give the audience time to complete the poll. What feels like an extended period on stage for you, may be a very short time for the users to navigate to the site/open the app, read the question and answer choices, think, and answer the question.
