This session will review the rationale behind the guideline development, highlight the evidence supporting key recommendations, and discuss practical strategies for integrating geriatric principles into critical care practice. Topics will include geriatric models of care in the ICU, delirium prevention and treatment, post-ICU recovery, and hemodynamic management in older adults with critical illness.
